Group Project (My role: UI/UX Designer)

UConnect is a digital platform designed to support university students in navigating both their academic and social lives. It helps students find and join communities, access peer support, and better understand course expectations through a more inclusive and accessible experience. With personalization at the core, UConnect fosters a stronger sense of belonging and confidence as students adapt to university life.

Problem: Students, especially those facing language barriers, struggle to communicate, build friendships, and understand educational resources. Many feel isolated, lack confidence in asking for help, and have difficulty finding the right communities or campus services. These challenges intensify stress, reduce peer engagement, and negatively impact both academic progress and wellbeing.

Solution: UConnect introduces a community-driven learning ecosystem where students can connect with peers, join interest-based groups, participate in discussions, and translate academic content with ease. Key features like Ask & Answer, Events & Communities, and personalized onboarding improve social participation and academic confidence, helping students transition from feeling disconnected to feeling supported and engaged.

Project Goals: To create an inclusive, intuitive university-based platform that empowers both local and international students to discover meaningful communities, build classroom confidence, and form lifelong connections, while also improving access to course-related support and information.
