Individual Project (My role: UI/UX Designer)

This retro-inspired (sketch style) weather application blends functionality with nostalgic design to create a more delightful weather-checking experience. Instead of conventional minimal tools, this app uses vibrant colors, playful visual metaphors, and a lively UI system to emotionally engage users whenever they plan for their day.

Problem: Weather apps tend to look indistinguishably similar and deliver information in a dull, purely functional way. Users rarely feel any emotional connection while checking the weather, which results in a forgettable experience and low engagement.

Solution: By combining bold nostalgic visuals, motion elements, and simplified data hierarchy, the app delivers weather insights users need, while creating a memorable, positive interaction that encourages frequent daily use.

Project Goals: To design an expressive weather interface that keeps essential information easy to understand while injecting personality and visual joy, turning a routine daily action into a moment of delight.
